DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURAL ANALYSIS
Critical Subjective / Objective Diagnostic Evaluation Prognosis Procedural Presentation Guide
A self diagnosis, in the sense of diagnostic procedure, can be regarded as an attempt at classification of an individual's condition into separate and distinct categories (the three from the previous page), that allow medical decisions about treatment and prognosis to be made. Subsequently, a diagnostic opinion is often described in terms of a diseased brain or other condition, but in the case of a wrong diagnosis, the individual's actual condition is not the same as the individual's diagnosis.
When the individual your are diagnosing is yourself, great care must be maintained to have an objective approach to your evaluation. Without such, there can be a tendency for a subjective emotional attachment to the diagnosis, ie. "ownership". This can prove quite detrimental to an all inclusive diagnostic evaluation if the subject thinks it is the object, or vice versa.
Once the evaluation is finished we can begin to exercise thereputic treatments that are appropriate for your case.
