DOUBLE OCCUPANCY VIRTUAL PADDED ROOM

Welcome to our Double Occupancy Virtual Padded Room, enjoy your stay!  Go get a virtual Straight Jacket if necessary.


The length of time you should spend here  in a padded cell can vary greatly. Sometimes patients can remain locked in here for several days.  As a patient, you might also be made to wear a straitjacket if you are considered a risk of self-harm.  Just stay as long as it feels comfortable and then add 10 minutes.

 

The use of padded cells and straitjackets fell dramatically following the introduction of psychotropic drugs in the 1950s and their presence/use is now rare in modern mental health care facilities.  Here is your chance to have a both therapeutic and nostalgic ​​​​​​​​​​experience at the same time!
