FLUORIDE FEAR FIXATION
FLUORIDE FEAR FIXATION
Everyone knows that when people are exposed to excessive levels of fluoride through sources like drinking water, foods and beverages and even swallowed toothpaste, it often results in a condition known as dental fluorosis. The internal uptake of fluoride into teeth over time causes their enamel to become mottled and discolored, the end result being damaged teeth that have essentially rotted from the inside out.
What is lesser known is the damage that fluoridated water does to your laundry. As a halogen, fluorine is very unstable and bonds quickly and easily with any negatively charged ionic molecule such as the dirt on your clothes or minerals in your wash water, not to mention your other laundry products such as detergent or especially fabric softener. This process chemically bonds the dirt to your clothes, and exposes your body to fluoride compounds. This revelation, while profound and containing far reaching effects, is not very helpful because there isn't a thing you can do about it except dry clean all your clothes.
