WARD 8

We just bounce off the walls in here on weekends!  One of our patients wrote "I realized that I really, really missed being around people. Before coming into the hospital, I’d isolated myself for a ridiculously long time. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been to a party. I’d stopped functioning normally in the normal social world like that and doing normal, fun things.  The parties at Happy Dale changed all that!  What a blast we always have and now I talk to and dance with anyone!

I'm better now, but I'm not all the way there. I’ll always be grateful for the little things institutions like Happy Dale do to make my stays enjoyable. Good psychiatric nurses, doctors and social workers who get into the spirit and really get down and party with the patients make all the difference when you’re institutionalized in these kind of places."

Warning! This is is where we keep the really tough cases, do not enter unless you're really sick . ,
